I purchased A6 a while ago... I know that I need to dig up the email sent when I registered... with my username and password or code or whatever was sent.

Assuming I find that - what steps should I follow for a clean install?

If I remember correctly, last time I installed the demo version, used what was sent in the email to unlock the demo version, and later downloaded and installed an update when I was following some tutorial and found a bug. I posted here about it and was told I needed to update.

Anyway... what is the best process to follow?

install the demo, and then unpack the Key.exe into that folder

was key.exe what was sent on purchase? Like I said - I need to go back and find that email.

Once I do demo, then key... then I should upgrade? Or is the new demo download the latest version and the latest templates?

Yes thats the file contitec sends. Then yes you should upgrade... I think the demo is 6.31 and current version is 6.40 then download the new templates from the templates forum and overwrite the existing ones in the gstudio folder.
