I may have the wrong forum,

but i'm try to use a model as a teleport pad. the problem i'm having is the player is having trouble getting on to the pad. the pad is pretty thin. so the player should be able to step onto it, right. but instead the player model stops dead if approached from the front. if you come from the sides you walk right through the model instead of on it.

i tried to program around it, but nothing helps, i removed all ignore_model keywords from my gravity and angle functions with not much change.

i had believed that a model could mount another model. i may be wrong. i guess i can always use a sprite on the ground instead.

any help would be greatly appreciated.

thanks.
