im getting too old for this hehe i keep forgetting stuff. i make a part of my level in WED ok and what i want to do is save it so i can open it in MED, but ive completely forgot how i do that!

what do i do to save something in WED so i can open it in MED??

i tried saving as a prefab but it wont let me open it in MED, aargh! hehe

please help me and ill write it down this time so i dont forget

file -> import -> import from wmp.

Noob question again, what is MED and WED. Are they different format of a file? Is that the extension used on animation? I know I'm just guessing wildly, but I would like to know what they stand for.

MED is the Model EDitor application in the 3DGS package to make 3D wire mesh models and wire mesh hight map terrains.
WED is the World EDitor. used to build levels and bring togeather other components (models, sprites, script programmed instructions and so on) to construct the overall game
SED is the Script EDitor program. the program for writting instruction code used by the game engine.
