Hi I want to know if it is possible and how you can make a house explode, let's say I am making a war type game and your one army guy you take cover inside a building when airplanes above drop's bombs in the area, I want to know how you would make it so if the bomb hits the house it will explode everything in the home and show partiles like peacies of wood flying all over and if anyone was in the house to show a force exerted on the guy, and mostly likely he would die.
I have see some physic's engines that showed a house build with boxes, the house is not a 3d modle but those boxes that's textured as a brick are 3d models and showed that it can explode with using some commands and shows the brick boxes fly around.

all with a physic action assigned

I think the best way to achieve this, is to actually fake it more or less. Just make your house like you want it to be, then make a few brick parts and wooden poles and perhaps broken windows and the like. Then after the big explosion with lot's of fire, create those brickparts and other ruin-like material, perhaps even let it fly around and fall down.

I think that a brick model for every brick of your house will become terribly slow, especially when they're going to move all at once because of that explosion. However I've never tested this,

but we are not in 1995y , why we doing like in half-life 1 .All of you telling how is this engine powerfull and why you thinking about this method!
