Hi!
Could please anyone tell me how to use the shader mtlterrainmulti? I have read the use in the wiki side and I have assigned
the texture to my terrain as the description says, but when I start my level the terrain appear black! Is there a tutorial
how to use them? I have read in the Darkmountain side the multi_rgb shader ( very well done jobs from Thorsten!)
but there is an other shader
but it does the same as the mtlterrainmulti. And this works very well. But as I have says we need more blending texture
for more detail to the terrain at least 6 or 7 or better 10!

Maybe you did not put appropriate colors into the blue channel. Blue creates shadows. Maybe your terrain has shadows only and is black because of that.

The first texture is the blend map and should have all 3 colors applied.

The following 3 maps are terrain textures. The 5th and 6th is for older graphic cards and can be used without shader (texture and detail map).

Hi Frank!

I donīt know but I have done a rgb map like in the tutorial from Thorsten if you know,(multi rgb) and for each color I have assigned one texture, red = grass; green = stone; blue = sand/road, in MED I have assigned as first texture the rgb map, then the other skins are grass skin 2, stone skin 3, sand skin 4, or maybe is wrong?

That is right. But the first map is not the red channel map. The first one (grass) is the overall texture. R and G will blend the second and third texture on top of the grass. Then comes blue with the shadow.

A little question! could be used more terrains in one level with the multitexture shader applied? like 4 o 5 diverse terrains
for example: if you have a little wood and you will create the ground texture with dryed leaves and dryed grass? what is with the framerate?
