I might have seen a few faces composed of 5 vert. (pentagons) between the upper part of the chest and the ribs. You should optimise those to quads or triangles. I like to see quads though more then triangles, it helps to keep a clearer view of your mesh, obviously they are not always the best choice.. it depends on the result you want achive when doing your cuts.
