Hi to all!
An other big problem has appeared today! people, I don't know like and from where it have come, in my level has not been changed anything of special, I have added only a script for dist_booster a few day ago, but it worked very well, today I wanted to continue to work on my level, I have started the game, without change anything, I tell ANYTHING!! and has happened that the player after that has walked a few steps he sinks in the terrain!!! I have removed the script for see if anything changes, but the same!! someone please knows to say what happens here? I swear that I am losing the will to continue to work to my level!.

Make sure in WED your terrain's POLYGON flag is checked. If it isn't your terrain will have an oval collision mesh, and weird stuff will happen.

If you truly didn't change ANYTHING it should still be checked, but it's easy to mess stuff up by accident ... I know

Game design is filled with stuff like that. My last six years of game design has been that sort of thing over and over. I have a slang term for it "Brick wall" because I tend to force my mind against the problem to solve it, and do about as much as vs a brick wall.

Keep trying to solve it, and it could be the polygon flag, or it could be the gravity code, or it could be gravity and the mesh combining with low push, or it could be using ent_move with ignore_push, models, maps, you, ect. Something that applys.

But dont stop work if you cant solve it, work on anther part of the project, and come back to that. You might be able to solve it later, when you have let your mind work on it a bit.
