I still expirience some trouble using the gxl2dbasdx9.dll. When I move a block in WED it moves jerky, it does not follow the movement of the cursor directly.
Yesterday, when I was editing the level, suddenly the screen went black and out of the blue after a while indeed the blue screen from Windows appears and the I had to reset the computer (all my editing lost of cource).
When I replace this dll with the former one, gxl2dx8a.dll, I don't have that trouble.

Some data from the Map Compiler:
1796 portals
348 objects
level size 4160 units
9152 vertices
7797 visible surfaces
23 textures
texture space 3715 Kb
lightmap space 666 Kb
lightmap space (D3D) 3456 Kb
552 regions

Any idea how this is possible?

Does it only happen with gxl2dbasdx9? Do you have a different behavior with gxl2dbasdx9A, or the DX8 libraries?

This behaviour happens in both the DX9 libraries and not in the DX8 librarie.

With which 3D hardware and driver version is this happening? Are background processes running on your PC?

I found the DX9 lib is very slow in WED 3D view.
I tried the Bronx Street level in download page, the 3D view almost freeze. Now I switch back to DX8 because DX9 is not usable.

I use the latest Nvidia driver.

I am using nVidea GeForce 7800GTX 256 mB Dual Card with driver 9.1.3.1.
There are no backgound processes running on my PC other than the normal processes used by XP.

I found in MED skin editor the DX9 render dll cannot map the skin on model in the right viewport, is it a bug? Or where is the option to show the skin.

I am using latest nvidia driver 93.71, GeForece 6800 GT and another PC with GeForce FX 5700.
