Hello, I'm new to 3DGS, but not so new at game design in general (I'm not an expert, either LOL). I was considering using 3DGS to create a classic 3D 1-player RPG (with a regular turn-based battle system) much like Final Fantasy VII, Legend of Legaia and Breath of Fire III.

Browsing around and searching the forums, I haven't really seen any of that here. Most people are making MMORPGs. I am wondering if it is possible to create a regular RPG game like this in 3DGS? or is the engine not capable of such? Does anyone have any screenshots of some of the RPG games they have made with 3DGS so I can at least see some of the engine's capabilities and such?

Thank you in advance

You might take a look at Lost Dutchman Mine 3D

It has RPG and FPS elements.

You can make any kind of game with 3DGS provided you familiarize yourself with scripting. There should be ample examples of single player, turn-based scripts/projects floating around. I know somewhere that there is a turn-based combat script.
