Suddenly MED crashed when I had made a cone. I have reinstalled MED twice, restart the computer, but every time I draw a cone and rotate it MED crashes.
This is the first time that this problem occurs. It has worked untill now without any fault.
Now I have tried the Lite-C MED there I don't have that problem.
Is there some file that has gone corrupt? There is a log made for today, but that is empty.
Can you give me a clue where to look for this problem?

If a corrupt file leads to a MED crash, it could be MEDEXP.DLL, MCCS.DLL, MTH.DLL, one of the GXL...DLLs or MED.EXE itself. The easiest way to fix a corrupt file is re-installing the latest update.

I have re-installed MED (version 6.846). I think that is the latest version.
The problem was not gone after re-installing.
Now I have shut dowm all the programs that were running and restarted the computer. Now the problem seems gone away. I hope it stays away.
