Good question! Another one: Does Lite-C support unlimited physics objects?

Lite C is a C with specific implementations of acknex-features to
make the development quicker.

It is obviously quite similar to c-script, as many functions are accessed as in
c-script / same syntax. But you have the increased freedom of using C specific features such as
using structs, and variable types (Integer, Float)

There should be a listing on the lite-c page, what engine features are
available. I rememeber, that the multiplayer part is not part of Lite C.

Basically programming in C ist more professional than in c-script,
wich is the main advantage in my mind.

You dont have to buy the Lite-C standalone application.

But Lite-C is coming for the gamestudio as scriptinglanguage.
If you are just a beginner in gamestudio, you dont need to bother with Lite-C for some time.

But for a more professional Project, this is a nice alternative to the old C-Script
syntax.

lite-C will be a free tool. Only for compiling stand-alone executables you'll need the non-free version for (probably) $69. This version will be feature-comparable with the current Standard Edition (without WED and BSP).

Once you have A7/Commercial you don't need to purchase lite-C separately. A7/Commercial includes lite-C already.

Also the features are the same as your edition allow. So if i'd buy A7 commercial, i'll be able to use the commercial features. However, I also have freedom to implement another multiplayer or physics engine trough extensions.

If I would choose not to buy A7, because I do not need WED or C-script. I can just purchase Lite-C for about $69.- dollar, but it will only give the features from the standard edition. Should I need anything else then these must be implemented on my own.

Are you sure? Well one of the good things about Lite-C is that its FREE! You don't have to buy. You may take your time and learn first or program your game and purchase when you are ready. The only limitation is that there will be a little watermark displayed and you can't compile to executable.

Yes and also the Standard edition will be discontinued once A7 is released. Lite-C is going to replace the Standard edition. However, if you buy not Lite-C, but A7 Commercial for instance. You get Lite-C for free and you can use it to compile to executable without the watermark using all features compareable to the licensed edition.

ok ,so you recommend to buy comm , i think too . i want to ask one question what about pro version , i think that many of engines have all features which have pro version in all types of versions . why i have to pay 900$ for render to texture ??? i dont understand this. do you think ,that in a7 in comm will be this feature implemented?
