Got MED 6.814, and can't seem to get bones working. I have created a model, and would like to animate it with bones, simply because it is new to me in MED, and is how I have done keyframe and kinematic animations in other packages.

I click the "Bones Mode" icon, but it doesn't remain depressed and the create bones and other related items at the bottom remain grey. I've tried this in a new blank modeling space as well with the same effect.

I know it is probably an ID-10-T error, but does anyone know where I can get a tutorial or something to get me started with bone anmation in MED?

Cheers!
Mark

You must Add frame and press Animate button (turns yellow). To begin animating inside MED. Basic and more 'advanced' MED based animation tutorials can be found inside the manual and workshop/tutorials on the download page.

Hi!
You need at least the com edition for bones animation.

Yeah, that would be why then. Bummer. Saving my pennies yet again...

Thanks,
Mark
