As far as I understand it, the number of visble entities (models, sprites and maps) are in the clip_near and clip_far range and the direction of the camera.
If I am wrong, please tell me.
Now I try to reduce the number of entities in my level, I have a count of 250 ergo a verry low fps.
I have changed 54 models into 1: same visible entities count, no change at all.
I made part of my level as a map: same visible entities count. Is a map counted as 1 or more?
Now I am getting confused why this count is not getting less.
Can anyone explain this to me?
