How would I get an eneity to completely face the direction it's travelling? I've used the vec_to_ang function and what happens is this:

The player moves in the direction you click, however for some reason it always faces sideways (not tilting). His left side always points the way to move rather than his whole body facing the direction, if that makes sense?

I'm trying to get it so that his whole body faces the direction he's travelling instead of the side of him.

Is this something that I would have to fix with the entity model? would I have to open the MDL file and rotate him 90 degrees so that the engine would read that as the "front" of the model when it moves?

I hope this makes sense....

Open a default Gamestudio model like guard.mdl and check in MED where it
is facing in eth views.
Then open and turn your own model also in that way.
