We need some references. I hope you understand, we have to make sure that you are qualified before we can make a committment to you.
Perhaps you can create some quick samples? We are working in the cartoon and medieval direction at the moment!

If you have any work to do in terms of 3d-modelling and 2d-texture-painting then I would be glad to help:

You can see my past work at http://www.dexsoft-games.com/models.html

Besides that I am able to create 3d characters.

Here is a static object:

And here are 2 example lowpoly-level scenes:

Best regards,
Frank

@Andreas:
FYI: These characters from Frank are perfectly constructed for bones animation without vertex weighting.

Thanks for all the applications so far!

UPDATE:
We are looking for one or several freelance assistants to convert our various model libraries to the MDL format.

You don't need special abilities for that, we only require you to have 3DGS (especially MED) and a graphic editing tool (Photoshop/PaintShop or something like that would be great, but also GIMP will be enough, I think). A basic understanding of how a model and its skin is structured might come in handy, too.

You will be given several Model Libraries and will have to covert all Models to the MDL format using the different Import-Features of the MED. Normally this works fine, but sometimes you have to re-edit the skin, especially when the source models are using materials with different textures.

In short: we give you a 3DS source model with several materials/textures! we want a MDL-Model using only one patchwork skin.

We will pay around 100$-150$ for each model package depending on the models contained.
