Ok so I have a simple level with a player and enemy. Im using the shooter_project template and have assigned AIFPS01 Guard to the enemy and PLBiped01 to the player. everything seems to work juts fine except a couple of annoying things.

My enemy slides instead of walks. How do I make him walk? I read in another thread you had to combine attack with walk but I have no idea how to do that.

My player has guns but you have to push E to make them appear. How do I make the player start with gun already in hand?

And last but not least what action do I assign a weapon that the player can pick up and use in addition to the guns he already has?

Sorry if these are silly things but I can't find this basic information in tutorials or the forums.

These are all answered in the forums and tutorial.

1. you have 2 options. one) slow down your enemy attack animation in the project manager or two) look at walk or run in med, change the position of the hand/arm with the weapon, so it looks like the weapon is aiming and then rename the animation frames, attack. be sure to check in MED for the right vertex number for the firing vertex number.

2.you can change that in the project manager, in the templates, player starts with weapon, select true.

3.weapon templates again. place the weapon in one of the profiles. add the weapon in your level ready for pickup, give the weapon pickup behavior. make sure you put ammo amount, etc in the behavior.
