FPSC isnt too bad a software , http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lnGujdN9SKI&mode=related&search= thats looks better than most gamestudio projects , and that's with the current fpsc , so you can definately make something with it as long as it's not an over ambitious project , which single developers cant handle anyway.
that looks more like an A4 template game O_o

I told fpsc was a bad software because I used it and It's nt very handy. If you want to create your world, your character or anything it very painfull and you cannot focus on other point like gameplay or maybe the ambiance. LAck of importing or exporting issue and a real documentation.
I completely agree, it's lacking at many points, but mainly performance.

@ phemox @ it's not impressive likea crysisbut if this engine still at the same price it would be very interesting
An engine doesn't have to beat Crysis visually to be good, but it clearly uses the "hey look we use DirectX 10 now"-advertising just to sell better. Good visuals are a great improvement, but it's pretty (painfully) obvious they've hardly changed anything else.
In fact, I've mailed them to ask them about the performance of their tech demo and they simply stated I should buy a better PC, I don't think that's realistic considering my PC actually ...

That game is about the max fpscreator can handle, more enemies and it comes to a crawly slowdown in frames per second, more detailed levels, same story. In fact, it's annoyingly limited when it comes to real customization actually. It's simply not fast enough. I don't quite agree that this is similar to the average 3DGS game, but then again averages include the very worst showcased games too.
I haven't seen a lot of games made with 3dgs that fully drove 3dgs to it's visual and performance-wise maximum at all. I do not mean projects that get the engine to slow down to a hold, I mean projects with reasonable performance ánd great graphics. Both is very possible to achieve with 3dgs and a handful of games actually proven this already.
A game as shown in that youtube movie will really run at 100-150+fps in 3dgs if done right.
Cheers
