The game studio manual says that New Skin "Adds a new skin after the selected skin, and opens the Skin Settings Panel.", but when I try to add a new skin it always adds it to the bottom of the list. It would be a big waste of time to add normal maps to my level models having to delete all the textures and remake them in the right order. I'm using Med 6.846.
I have levels with over 30 textures already and i want to add normal maps for each one without having to delete the textures and remaking them in order and reapplying the textures. According to the manual I should be able to add skins after the selected one but it doesn't work.
In stardard.wad select the favorite skin, then, this will go up >> right click >> Apply (first you must select the object that will be red) I use this metod Oo http://img516.imageshack.us/img516/9550/textth3.gif
I'm using models for levels and I already have them made with a bunch of diffuse maps but each normal map has to be after the diffuse map and I'm trying to figure out how to arrange my textures without creating them in order.
Oh, I see now. Yes, that is a problem. Skin manager has an skin export option, so you won't have to remake each skin, however, it unfortunatly does not have an option for moving skins.
This "move skin order" thing would REALLY help, and would be no problem to add. I highly recommend you post this in the future section !
