Hi!

I want to change a BMAP during the game and then save it for example as "test.bmp".

I haven't found any function in the manual yet.

However I found the Big.Dll written by TripleX....with its useful functions!

There is "dllfunction DllSaveBitmap(bmp,str);"

But that function does not work......I have tried very many versions (define the bitmap before and so on)

Can you post a (just little but working) example...?

Or do you have another solution for my problem?

if you don't mind saving it as a TGA, then there's a script in the WIKI

I've used it with a lightmap generator I made for terrain. It works really well.

You've just got to set it up and modify it to your needs...

Yes, it works very well!

I found this line....:

" write8(2); // image type"

Can I use it for .*-files (bmp, png)?

I think I can not do this because they would not have called the script "Write tga...."

...I was just wondering...

No, bmaps and png's have different headers and writing formats. You could easily modify the script to do so with a little research
