Hi,

Coolio that you got that far.

Nope, there isn't any block support, the tool only supports model based levels.

About the texture problem: Run MED, open your 1_testwall1.mdl model or another one then go Edit:Manage Skins and check to see if your texture images are there. And what is the information that shows up under File:Model Properties?

Be sure that the image format you are using in Maya is one of those compatible with A6-- being bmp, tga, or dds (maya doesn't do pcx).

HI
below a screen of model properties and their skins. The file is called Pescaria.bmp, it's a 128x128 bitmap compatible with MED. They have saved inside the 'images' directory and models inside 'models' directory, (obviously)

If I copy Pescaria.bmp to 'models' directory the skin works. But model's uv is not the same I've set in Maya. anything I'm doing wrong?

Well, at least it's exporting great! It's amazing tool. Congratulations!!!

below the screen of MED, any help will be apreciated (again)

Hmmm.. are you sure that the original model in Maya has correct UV's that you have either unwrapped or cyl/plan/sphere projected? Or did you simply apply the texture and let Maya automatically draw the texture on to the surface? This isn't a subst object, right?

Could you post a screenshot of the object in Maya too?

hi, I solved the problem, just create a spherical projection to object
and worked fine

thanks friend by your help. I'll work in my project now.
When I'll have questions I'll post them in the forum, or ask directly to you

Best regards.

Cool,
we've both maya/3DGS programmer. Yesterday I was studing how 3DGS write it's WMP file, if you open it in an text-editor you'll see that is not hard to create a maya-to-WMP exporter script. All we need to know is how to create MEL script to write in the WMP format.
I'll try to create my own exporter: Maya-to-WMP exporter script. So I can create block based level

I begun to create it yesterday, but I'm not a MEL expert programer, so I'll take a time to create it. But it will be much easier to create levels than MED.

When my exporter is ready, I'll send you a free copy
