hi
i have the A7.03 exrta version and i set by all models from my level that i made with a6, the flag "shadows" now when i start my game i have only 1-6 fps ^^ an the engine crashs after some seconds. i tryed to set only by some models the shadow-flag but didn't changed anything. please help me
(i have 989 models in my game an i wanted to but more there and all with shadows so i really need your help)

There can be many reasons for a crash - my first guess would be a damaged model file. Here are some hints what to do in case of a crash:

If you can't find the reason for the problem yourself, contact the support. They'll help you.

ok
now it does not crash anymore but the shadows are cast by the sun and not by the lights and why do i have only 1 fps??

is it normal that model-shadows eat(^^) so many fps?? i normally get 35 fps in my game.

The frame rate depends on the number of polygons, whether you're using LOD or not, and the shadow method (z-buffer, z-pass, or z-fail). See:

but why do i have 35 fps without shadows an d only one fps with shadows??

Thats because shadows code take calculation time.
The more models and more polys you have in your models,
slower will be the fps.Try using LOD for your models
and let the shadows be calculated from a lower LOD model.(check the "shadow_lod"
var from the manual)


I like good 'views' because they have no 'strings' attached..
