Just for the beggining...
Without effects or super-extra-max models

It's all about engine (ball physics, motion, etc), what You think about this?
R- restart
Holding RMB - camera move

Demo - LINK

Cheers

Nice start, but there are some things that could be improved otherwise I understand this game is still in a WIP phase.
The direction of the ball should be controlled by the mouse and not a 'slider'
Second, the physics aren't quite right yet, when the ball rolls back on a hill the backwards movement caused by the physical gravity stops at a sertain moment. It sounds weird but the ball just stops at the middle of a hill which mostly isn't possible. On the otherhand, this could be possible when the ball consists out of metal and you hold another metal object close to the ball without touching it, so the magnetic flux will interact and make the ball go slower but the movement of the ball will never stop because of the force caused by the natural gravity That to the side, I hope you can finish this game and make the best out of it !!

Cheers

Just 1 hole?!!
I agree with frazzle's statements about the ball direction and physics.
I do like that you used terrain(i'm quessing that is what you used.), i actually was thinking about using terrain for my mini-golf game also, but decided to keep it simple this time, also a little more distance on the camera view would be nice and a different hole border texture, it blends into the grass to much.. I do like how you control the shot power though and was actually tring to work on a script to do that but my scripting know-how isn't that great.

I think the bumping of the walls is a bit to hard try to make it more smooth

1. I'll try do something about stoping ball of slope
2. looks ugly because is how I always start new project, script and physics first, modeling, effects, textures at the very end (sometimes never) <lol>
3. I'll add of'course full free camera movement
4. Stearing is just in veeeery gamma version will be (I hope) similar to TW2007

thx for replys and waiting for more positive criticism
Cheers.

Never say never.
