i know this is probably the noooobiest thing you have ever heard but... i dont understand how to import my own .BMP textures. i keep making images but... it wont let me import... help/

i had the same problems. try other formats like jpg or tga.....

this should work fine.

right click on the wad drop down menu to the left of the screen. click on add textures. you may want to build a new wad first in the texture manager or you will be adding the textures to the standard wad and they will stay there untill removed which can be confusing. you cannot add textures to the default wad, you must load a wad first. you cannot use jpg images

Texture > Texture Manager > Add Folder... Then go find the folder where you saved your .bmps' into.
