After reading doug's post at top of page was hopeing someone could tell me whats wrong? As reported earlier my guard cbabe.mdl with stock templetes seem to be malfuctioning. Most of the animations are working right but the walk and run is just sliding around the screen. The legs have movement in it is turning but not in stright line walking. If the same model is used as the player 3rd person everything works right. Below is the notes from the project manager the problem I think is in the bipedAnim01.wdl but thats what I get and don't know how to fix. I have reinstalled windowsxp from scratch as well as versions 6.3,6.4,6.5,6.6 & 7.0 with the same problem in all fresh installs. At one time it was working fine. Thank you for any and all help!
Looks like normal template behaviour. Cbabe just doesn't have a walk/run->attack animation. She uses stand->attack and while shooting glides in a straight line towards the player.
Boy I really feel stupid been fighting with this for about a week. I could have sworn there was a walk/run attack animation before. I see it in the model editor but If I understand you right it isn't in the script. Is there a way to make it walk and run while attacking in a line. It would really look alot better in my game. Thanks I thought I was going crazy!!

Yes you can replace the model with a model which contains the correct animations. Guess it also require some changes to the template code, where the animation is done. Or you could maybe blend the two animations, but that is not so easy.
