Heres a better screen of it. notice the light just passes right through the model ![](http://img443.imageshack.us/img443/9957/clipboard01yt4.jpg) Shot at 2007-07-27

it's an MDL, isn't it? only static level geometry (that excludes Map Entities) will cast and receive proper shadows from static lights in WED.

all the dynamic flag means is that it will affect models without them having to detect the light colour between them (i think). it doesn't make models cast shadows.

ventilator has script for models to have baked shadows, you could write shaders for realtime projected shadows/lights.
you can fake some shadows with sprites, too.
experiment with these ideas. some of them are annoying or tedious but it's the way to go.
ventilator's shadowmapped stuff is your easiest option.

Ive also had similar problems with the dynamic flag. If I were you I would try using an entity that emits dynamic light, i found this works better.

Ok, I have the same problem and here is the answer: When you finish putting all the models create a Hollow Cube but build each wall for individual and scale for covers all your level and in the properties marks the invisible flag. It works to me. Tested and tell me the results.
The walls must be perfectly aligned, cannot be left space among them, like the original Hollow cube that can create in WED.
No matter what people tell you, words and ideas can change the world.
