@MDI:
OGG Vorbis is a free for commercial use alternative to MP3. In some people's opinion, OGG offers superior compression and quality. You can compress a file into an OGG file with any good sound conversion program. I use dbpoweramp Music Converter:
http://www.dbpoweramp.com/It can convert just about any sound file format into any other format. It's free, but has a 30-day trial mode when it comes to the MP3 conversions (LAME MP3 format); however you can use it beyond that 30-day period for all other formats. If you want MP3 usage, though you have to pay them since they have to pay the creators of MP3 to allow them to include that functionality in their program.
3D Gamestudio can read OGG files; thus you can use it and don't have to worry about paying royalties like with MP3. Plus, it's just a better format or at least equal to it. Many commercial games use OGG.
