Thank you! I've Commercial Edition. You told me the models are always loaded dynamically. Can I dynamically entity maps (or sub maps) also? Can I use this technique to create a huge level (dividing my level in sub parts that I will load dynamically at runtime)? Thank you! :-)
Quote: But rendering with "Simple Map" is better because then you can have arbitrary geometry, otherwise your geometry must be BSP suited (convex).
Unless you have Pro. Then you can use BSP with arbitrary geometry (or at least that has what has been said...dunno if you can do it yet or if it's in a future update).

There's also Mesh Mode (activated by Create Meshes in the build menu), which does not generate BSP at all no matter which version you use. This should save you compile time, and ABT is used when rendering the level. Using Simple Map still generates the BSP tree if Create Meshes is off.
I was in the understanding that the BSP tree generated by non-Pro A7s was actually an A6 version... but then I guess this is atually not the case? I've been trying to find out how one would "activate" the A7 BSP and what the actual changes would be compared to A6. I found very little on this subject.
No Mesh mode has nothing to do with BSP, there are two buttons "BSP Map" and "Simple Map" on the top of the compiler window and they decide to generate a BSP or not.
Mesh Mode is the new A7 mode for generating a level from meshes instead of blocks and that works with or without BSP,
That's odd. When I use Simple Map it still claims to generate a BSP tree. From the documentation I had understood that Mesh Mode prevents this. I guess I understood wrong.
I've searched the forum archives for posts on the subject and I think I have a better idea of the whole ABT/BSP thing now. Lets hope it helps
