They lie(Not saying this one does just stating that some websites lie). Can some one just provide me with info about what the weak points are or bugs that are known. My budjet is enough to buy what i need i allready have wings 3d and milkshape since ive been programing in DBP for a year now and i want to move on to another language. Thanks for any help.

We really need to know what you will use GStudio for (yeah I know, games )so that the best recomendation can be given.

Going Standard and Lite-C =
Standard= No terrains, Bones or advanced mapping
Lite C= No World editor

Extra= not sure about

Commercial= everything you need to make games.

Professional= Same as commercial but with extra goodies to complete any gaps in the whole process.

Languages
Lite-C (Wdl and c_script phasing out)

Hopefully users with more clues will follow up.

Cheers...

Okay well, i love RPGS in medivel time like dark messhire and the settelers so i need terrain i use bone anomation. I have installe dthe free version of lite-c and i love it. The ideas of panels are godly. Im thinking of going with Comercial. When i loko through the prices though they have somethnig called Team licence for comercial what exatly is this. UI mean its cheeper than the 1 one man lincence. Whats teh difrence.

Thanks,

Okay i was just looking through the info about GameStudio. And i lookewde at the particel and effect system and it says it uses shader model 3.0. Alot of people Grafics card dont support that cant i out the shader model on 1.0 or something?. P.S i can make my own shaders in Rendermonkey.

You don't have to use shadermodel 3 But you will be to able with commercial
AFAIK you will have to edit shaders from rendermonkey a little to make them work with GS
And you can do whatever you want with code, if you are a programmer of course

Yes but can i make a game with no programing. I want to learn programing but i want an engine i can do the easy stuff liek positioning models in a drag and drop and making a simple game in drag and drop. Then with code add mroe advanced fetures like an inventory.
