I have a small question,
When making a small game, i made a gun that shoots a small visible projectile. Now when the gun shoots, it appears that at a certain distance, the projectile dissapears from view. Yet I know it is still there because i can see the affects of it after it dissapears. I was wondering if there was some sort of engine variable or somthing that could increse the distance of visable objects.

Thanks [Wink]

the variable "clip_range" is used to set at which distance things become invisible to view, how far does it travel before it is out of view?

Hmmm, well the projectile that i made is sort of smaller than the default Guard models hand, for genrl refrence. But it appears to dissapear at about 750 quants. I am not to sure of the exactness of this, but it is about it.

The variable "Clip_size" determines how much model entities are clipped at a distance. Experiment with different values until you are satisfied.

The default clip"size is 0.5 which means that half of a pixel must be covered by a models triangle before it gets rendered so increasing the resolution of the screen will help but ultimately you will want to reduce the value of clip_size so that smaller objects are visible.
