Hi people!! ther is any way to make a face two sided on 3dgs? I wanted to make a hair to my model, but I don´t know how to make the faces of the hair be two sided...

anyone can help??

I think you could place (in MED) a Face twice, and then "Flip Normals" one of them. Yep, I just tried it. it works.


If I am posting, it probably means I am asking a question. Or faking my knowledge by agreeing with somebody else.

yep and another way from a box model is to weld vertices to get a single plane but with 2 sides.

Organic or complex shapes can use surimane0's solution with ease.

nice solution, I haven´t tried this!!

I use the same solution as surimane0 said, but I thought the engine has a command to do this automatically

It can be done by setting CullMode=None in a material effect. Have a look at the Improved Overlay FFE in the wiki as an example.
