problem in template6..need help #156864

i am having a problem with the explosions in the weapon and ai templates..in the weaponfx00.wdl i had to go into customize and turn explosions to false..then i had to remove a piece of the script in the aifps01.wdl..the error for the weaponfx00 is...ent_createlocal @2,my.x,fxa_exp1_flash weaponfx00.wdl 515:0()parameter unknown fxa_exp1_flash....there is another just the same but ends with the word trail instead of flash...

then i had to remove this piece of code from the aifps01.wdl....

if(random(8) < 3)
{
temp.x = random(4) - (2);
temp.y = random(4) - (2);
temp.z = random(4);
effect(FXA_Exp1_FX,1,my.x,temp);
}
the error message for it is....aifps01.wdl 1487:0()parameter unknown FXA_exp1_FX

i would appreciate any help because i would like to use the explosions in the templates..it seems anything to do with FXA_EXP1_...is causing my problem...thanks

I am not sure why this problem occurs - but according to your profile you are using version 6.22. Try upgrading to the latest version (6.6 I think it is) and see if that fixes it

i am using a7 now...but it is still with the template6...i am having trouble finding the FXA_EXP1_FX..

Why did you do this?

Restore you code to the original versions and the errors will go away.

FXA_Exp1_FX is a function located within template_6\code\fxa01.wdl at line 232.
