hi there

i want to show you my first project called "UnderWater".
The simple version of the story (some of you might find parallels to "BioShock" ):
a young man called Tom "Tommy" Owen finds himself in a room with a small submarine in it, he wants to know were he is so he explores the rooms and floors. while he's walking around he finds out, that he's in an underwater laboratory, which was built to research without laws. it was build by the Tommy's father...

the style should be like the one in "Psychonauts"
i just began to develop one or two weeks ago so there are no enemies and that stuff.

Hey looking good. Textures are a litle oversized maybe but its good to see block levels in action.

Welcome to 3D Gamestudio Verbrecher Kid !!!

The style of this game, looks for your "first Game" good.
But, like you said it hasn´t got enemies, interior and other Stuff.
Bt I hope,it should be great if you programm a little.

A first try in 3dgs and showcasing it, is a hard step to take.
For a first level, this is quite oke, I can understand why you used some standard wads, models, geometry blocks,... because you're of course in a very long but exiting and fun to do learing periode While your project will develop, you'll learn every bit when experimentating so don't start of with shaders or with other complex stuff you want to create or you are willing to create because you'll probably won't have enough experience to complete the though and procres of it The level design of your level is oke but too blocky and monotone, while goofing around with WED,MED and SED, you'll learn and see who it should be done properly ^^ If that level of proces is to slow for you, then you can always follow useful tutorials form the Acknex resource site and lot's more but I guess you'll save yourself it that option

thx for the nice replies
i don't know why the textures are oversized, they are standart wads...
but at first i want, that the level is working, with enemies, traps and so on, and after that i'll make own textures and round edges^^

YOu can "scale" the Textures, smaller...
Before u clicked on the "Apply" Button, klick on "Settings" and use the Scale X / Y Values to change the "resolution" on the BLocks
