I try to represent my country with smile as I'm the only one that owns an official version which I'm aware of here in
Belgium

Yeah, your posts make me think all people in Belgium are cheerful and positive
As for the screens - not bad for a first attempt, i remember my first levels, they were not so good

Well, I wish it was like that all the time but logicaly it ain't possible.
Btw, my positives responses aren't only for that reason, constructive C&C like telling people what could be improved, reworked,... with a friendly tone is the best way to get into a comprehensive situation most of the time. Indicating everything directly to the point is linked with this too but with a smile Of course, you need to give people some credits as well
Sorry for the off-topic post thought.

Cheers

yes, welcome to the forum :-)

Your screenshots also remind me of my first attempts with Gamestudio. I would say you got something good to build upon and I hope you will continue the good work. Here are some tips to help you:
1. Try to use different textures for the walls and the ceiling.
2. If you want to create a creepy horror atmosphere, put some columns in the room and set a lightmap right behind these columns. This will create some nice looking shadows that create a "dangerous" atmosphere.
3. Send me a PM if you like. I can give you some enemy models and weapons for your game, if you want them.

Welcome again, it's always nice to see new people here
Best regards
Rincewind

Hi,
Now some new "ideas" and some screenshots of a model i'm working on:

the laboratory has actually 5 regions: the real laboratory, a market place, an unfinished hotel, the chilloutarea and the office sector.
then there will be a dome what was built for the researchers to think and talk. you can get to the dome from every section.

a predesign of the dome made with google sketchup

and here the unfinished part of an old divingsuit made with wings 3d
later it should look like the left one on this picture

cool du benutzt also auch wings
das ist ein klasse Tool finde ich und auch sehr einsteigerfreundlich.
Die screens sehen sehr gut aus nur finde ich das dieses Luken Moddel noch etwas zu weit nach unter geht ansonsten aber echt top
