Peace and Hi guys.
I am glad to have found gameStudio. Thank you for clicking on me. I am just curious why the gaming sites are not flooded with discussion on this product. My question is if this product can do all that it says it can--it look like GREAT PRODUCT!!-- why is there not a tremendous over pouring of interest in it? Maybe there is, but in your opinion as a professional gaming tool what are the benefits and the shortcoming of gameStudio?
Thank you for your help. I have dedicated an incredible amount of time learning how to code in Java and to use Java to make games, only to learn now that it is not the best language to create games, especially when I look at the games that you all create here. So, before I jump into GameStudio and kiss Java goodbye (I know I can still use it with gameStudio) I just want to know your honest opinion of its ability to create professional games.
Thank you I am scarred to invest more time in creating and learning a new program only to find out the limitations later. Like perhaps you really need to know scripting to do the really cool stuff, or have to buy expensive plug-ins like 3ds max to get the cool graphics, or buy Poser to get well formed characters...I am not adverse to learning!
Peace.

I don't know if it's the BEST, but for games, you create in your freetime, it's very good. But i don't test other gamemakers, so i can't say, if there are better ones... ...what games do you want to craete with gamestudios?

Thank you G-Tos for your reply.
I want to create 3D adventure games where people enter into interior or exterior environments and can walk around and then are prompted with questions when they enter certain rooms to make decisions about what actions, they should take. For example if they enter a space that is a restaurant, a pop-up will ask them if they want to sit at a window table or a back table, then based on their answer they are escored to that table.
The basic idea is that they need to have freedom in the 3D space, and I will need to be able to add elements based on their actions. SO for example when they sit at the table, I will need to have some way to be able to have the waiter come over to give them a menu. Or if they try to leave the restaurant without paying the police will have to be able to chase them. So there is some type of Artificial Intelligence(AI) involved.
I will download the game but wanted to know some basic things about both the capabilities and limitations. Thank you again for your time.
Peace
