I can no longer use my Bookmarks menu, or my integrated google search bar (the only way I got here was to go directly to google.com and search "Gamestudio forum"), both of which I use on a regular basis, all because of a couple of files that somehow were "corrupted" when I ran SpyBot Search & Destroy. Every time I open the Bookmarks menu, poof! Netscape closes. If I type something in the integrated search bar, poof! Netscape closes. Any ideas as to what I can possibly do about it, if anything? I already looked in the Netscape program folder, but I can't find the folder that has the Bookmarks in it. EDIT: It also seems to randomly quit at times, too, as I just recently found out (about 30 seconds ago). Last edited by MrCode; 11/24/07 08:10. I had problems with 8.1, because it closed down when a page of imageshack opened. You could reinstall or upgrade, and then import bookmarks from your old installation. When I booted up my computer this morning, it ran CHKDSK and it solved my problems (said there was a corrupt index in a file called "~DF1404.tmp" or something like that).
