Okay, since there's JACK in the manual....

What's the difference between map entities and prefabs, where collision detection is concerned?

My player is NOT detecting map entities with anything but the narrow hull. Map blocks or prefabs (WMP) work fine. WMB doesn't detect collision for my fat hull OR the bounding box.

Is this a 5.51 engine bug? I've had many collision difficulties since the update.

Answer? You schmucks don't deserve it, since no one touched the question. Posted as an engine bug, I got an answer. jcl was da man today. Rasberries to the rest of you. Are any of you actually working on something?

The answer is: <drumroll.wav>

The WMBs were built with a different fat hull size than my level. this is a no-no. It seems they only recognize the hull size they're prefabbed with. Use another size for your level, and it ignores that in favor of the prefab hull def.

Speaking of untouched questions, my wheel code is awesome, and no one helped, so no one gets any. [Razz]
