thanks for the repley but i dont get it to work

skin is "testskin.bmp"

handle_bmap = hit.skin1;// pointer = ...
handle_bmap -> link.name (test_str);

the only thing i get is a error and not the texture name

can you explain more i dont get that stucture stuff
