i have the LEGAL version of commercial a6 and now all of a sudden i can not get starter or resource to work. i want to know how to fix this.

'Starter' and 'Ressource' are Professional features!! They are not in 'commercial' (see Feature list). It must be a bug that that worked before...

Starter definitions work definitely in A5com.
I found no explanation in the old 5.51 , new 6.0 manual or the update7.txt that starter definitions are only for pro users.
I'm still on 5.51com, but with A6 trial starter still works !!
Starters are parsed for all editions in GST-Builder.

I mean starter functions. It works with several starter definitions in one script ![[Wink]](images/icons/wink.gif) . Window definitions like WINSTART, WINRUN and WINEND work definitely only in pro!

o and if it is just in pro, then i would like to make a complaint to conitec ![[Smile]](images/icons/smile.gif) . one for emailing me a letter thinking something i spent $200 on was illegal, and the other being i can't even make a resource file for the game! publishing the game doesn't really do *ahem* -dan

I have no record of asking you to prove your ownership. If you like, you can bring this up with my by private email.
Second, the file packer is clearly listed as a Pro only feature on our webpage.
