Hello,

In the world editor, left sidebar, there is a tab called Resources. There, the paths for different file types (MDL, PREFAB, ...) are displayed. How do I change these?

The reason why I'd like to do this, is that the directory structure for our project contains models in a "Model" directory, levels in a "Level" directory, etc.

Hi Silver!

I think that this section is changed when
you make changes in the WED.
Like removing or adding a model.

I use the resource section to get to the model faster or
to check it.

A question remains, though... How do I add a model that is not in the same directory as my level file? When I click on "Add->Model", the dialog only displays me the current directory, with no way to change it.

That's why I was thinking I ought to set that search path first.

Add the path to your main startup script file. Close MED then restart it.

Your new path should now show up in the add menu.
