Can I help me about it. MED support import from .3ds and .ase, but those types do not contain bone.

Use FBX import! It works fantastically.

Thanks, JetpackMonkey.
After created a biped, load a .bip file, I have a animation in 3ds max. Use FBX import, I have a bone and frames in MED, but that bone doesn't animate. Why?

Hi hoannh,
Jetpack is right. You can use the "FBX plug in" provided by the official site of 3dsmax. You must check out your options and values in the "motion panel" of 3dsmax. After having done your animation, go in the "footstep Operations" panel
and be sure to have clicked on "create keys for inactive footsteps". You must verify all the parameters in :
- 3dsmax
- in the fxb exporter
- and in the med

I hope It has been helpfull for you.
Best regards
salem lab

I tried many times: I used a biped model with animation (load from a .bip file). Export to .fbx, I always receive a warning:
"[WARNING] Physique Modifier Export -
The plug-in has detected objects with Physique modifier deformations.
The deformation will still be exported but, due to the limited
support of this modifier, we recommend using the skin modifier"
Import that .fbx file to MED, animation is imported successfully, but my model is terrible:

Well, finally I tried with a model which is skinned with Skin Modifier. Export to .FBX successfully and in MED it very well. Thank you very much.

Does this FBX stuff works only in A7?

I'm looking for a way to import in the A6 MED and not finding.
