Pilgway studio is glad to inform of its program 3D-Brush to have been renamed. Today 3D-Bush has got a new name - 3D-Coat. In brief, the program is now referred to as 3DC.
The new official program’s web-site can now be accessed at
www.3d-coat.com The re-branding initiative was spurred by the idea of aquiring a more distinctive and unique name for the tool, while preserving the descriptive nature in its title.
“Coat means "to cover something with a layer of a particular substance" so it well fits what 3D-Brush does,” – said Andrew Shpagin, the Lead Programmer of the tool.
Alongside the new program name announcement, we are happy to launch 3D-Coat version 2.07 today! Compared to previous installments of the program, v.2.07 gained a huge list of improvements and new features, including, among others:
• increased volume of virtual memory used to increase object detailing
• profound performance optimizations
• extensive use of multi-core processors
• interface reorganization to speed up the workflow and make it more intuitive
• layer import/export into a PSD file with padding
• and more…
