@Chrispiz, all entities, objects etc have properties which are accessed via right clicking.
Select the terrain, right click and on the first panel you will see two check boxes, albedo and ambient.
-100 for ambient will get it as dark as it can go and as Plouf suggested, the albedo may give results too.
So if your not sure with action scripts just yet, apply the check box settings in the properties of each object.
Cheers.

Hi,
I dont want to derail this topic-just wanted to ask Nemesis a question while I got his attention.I can't seem to get your terrain generator to export to WED, do I have to download another map editor, like a valve editor? If so, which one do you recommend??

Sorry, I dont know what your referring to.
If you mean NEMS well, its not mine but to get stuff from Nems into GStudio check the export options, "\\style" and "flatten bottom" for floor type .maps or "flatten roof" for ceilings from memory.

Then export to .map then open Wed and "open" the .map file by selecting the 'open as..' option
(If it doesnt show a 'terrain' but rather a 'blocky' output, swap the "\\style" for the other one.)
then fix any errors from conversion then group and texture and finally build as an entity in prepreration to including in your project.

If your referring to the htmps terrain Ive posted, copy the files into your work directory then import from 'objects-terrains'
Hope this was a help.
Cheers.
EDIT. Dan made an awesome "Cave" tutorial that covers this subject really well.If you did a search, Im sure youll find it.

If I recall from another post and from actually poking around with it - you need to adjust the materials in MED in order to remove that super brightness to the map. The quickest way I found was to change the surface type to metal.
