In die Begin (In the beginning) finished. images.
Revised: This project took me about 14 months to complete, and I finished it in March 2007. The screenshots stopped working, so im reposting them, with some new packaging photos. As of February 2010, sales are at roughly 1300 hard copies sold. Game description: The game revolves around the 6 days of creation, with a collection of mini games and activities for each day. The game is for children ages 6 to 10. Each "day" also has a gallery, a song, and a puzzle piece that the player has to print out. This piece is stuck to a poster that is packaged with the game. When it is finished, the player can color the picture in and stick it to their wall. I tried to cover a wide variety of skills with the game, like language skills, hand-eye coordination, logic and general knowledge. Feedback: Ive had very positive feedback. Children are enjoying it immensely and some sit for hours on end. There's nothing that can make me happier than to know that the game succeeds in what it was supposed to do! Ive had very little problems with technical support, less than 1%. Most due to systems that don't adhere to the minimum requirements.

Thanks for all the encouragements, its appreciated. The arts festival we went to was cool. Sold 27 copies. Just to give a perspective, when you sell products like CDs, DVDs etc at a festival like this, in the way we did (by the real "Oom Karoolus and Lente at their 8 shows), you dont sell much. 27 copies actually exceeded our expectations. What happens now is we will try to get it in a few shops, and see how it goes from there. @ Firoball: yeah for some reason printing shops here just light themselves up for no reason. its got something to do with being mettaly unstable.

Hi guys I cant believe its been almost 3 years since I released my game! I though I should give you an update. Sales are standing at around 1300 copies, which isn't too bad. Bear in mind these are all packaged hard copies, with manual. It pays for computers, laptops and cameras! I thought I was going to start with a second game soon afterward, but as you know life happens and 3 years later I never got to it. I hope I can start again, its what I really want to do! I havent been active here in a long time, so Im happy too go and see what you guys have been up too recently. The images arent working in this thread unfortunately. Its hosted in my old photobucket account. Ill try to get that account active again soon. Photobucket is busy with maintenance.
