I've looked over the site a couple of times and decided i'm ready to purchase gamestudio. I've been using Animation Master for a while so i'm not completely new to CG. The one thing I can't decide on is which version to purcase. I'm thinking i'm going to purchase the commercial version. I'm only going to be using it as a hobbyist so I don't think I need the expert version. Also, is lite-c a seperate program? Would I need to purchase lit-c just to make a simple game?

Thanks,
Masna

no, you dont need to purchase lite-c. It's already inside the all A7 editions.

And i think the commerical version is best to start with. [Well , I purchased commerical version and im happy with it.]

I've saved up enough money for it so I ordered. The only problem is my pay pal is acting strange. It said it'll email me when it fixes itself. I don't think I can wait that long.

i hand A:M on my wishlist for programs once, but it seemed rather difficult to get models form A:M to 3dgs. Once there has been an *.x exporter around, but it was said to be strange still. So better don't expect to port your A:M models to 3dgs.

Hmmm... I'll keep that in mind. Everyone i've spoken to said it was much easier to model and rig in A:M and export into game studio. I'm pretty sure there's some plug-in that can easily do this. I'm not quite sure what X Exporter is. Is that the plug-in?
