I've read a bunch of posts and am still having problems. I model a single mesh guy and add a biped and animate the biped (did it both by hand and with automated walk)Then I export to .fbx 2006.11.1. Then I go to med and import model from fbx 2006. The guy and his texture look great, but no animation.
If I remove the biped and just animate him moving around, it works. So, it is something with the biped part. I used skin and not physique, too.

Thanks,
Gumby

The reason is simple - MED can't import bipeds. It don't know, <what's that> so it simply ignores bipeds. It's an old lag \:\)

I switched to other account since marth 2010. Guess which.

Thanks for quick reply.
No, that didn't work either.
I have tried with the biped hidden, renderable, and with visibility to 0. I have shortened the number of frames and tried most everything.
Still looking for help.

So, Vadim, if MED can't see the biped how are people using 3ds max to animate their characters?
