Anyone ever get an error while compiling a level saying Too Many Portals.
If so what do I do to correct the problem?

I only have 1944 portals. How is that too many? If I turn lighting calcs off it builds but looks bad.

And, when you start the lighting calcs separately?
Hm. Normally it says "recursing regions".
About the lighting, the size of the lightmaps depend on the size of the textures, maybe increasing or decreasing the size of the textures is the way out...
