boozar: don't hate the player, hate the game cartoon_baboon: yea the engines are linked to the thrust as well. there has been a lot of changes to the level over night. cro_games: that is what i am aiming for. like what would it look like if space shooters of this type were still popular today. qyadraxas: i stole it... toast: yes! limiting the movement to the borders of the screen at a 45 degree angle like this has undesired results at the moment. maglat: as soon as i purchase molebox and have a complete level. EDIT: Also, I will be updating the video. In general I have learned a lot about handling large levels with many entities. Did I mention: nexus = 10. . .

hehehheee, i entered some similar movement code to the contest, but has no 45 degree angle limit, but does update its rotation smoothly (bones ftw :P). Have a look, who knows, it might help, but seeing the state this is in currently... great job man! i want to make such A game once too... time regards,
