This is a question about materials:

I have made my map in 3dsmax, I have also made in 3dsmax(the materials and tiling and I have applied to the objets)

Then, when I import them to WED, the mapped objets doesn't have the correct tiling.

Maybe WED does not recognize the values(size and tiling)
from 3dsmax?

That means I have to map the 3D objets only in WED?
or I can do it in 3dsmax?

Thank you for your answer, if you have questions about
3D modelling(3dsmax and Rhino3D) I can help you.

when you say map settings are you setting these through the material editor?

The only way that WED can preserve the mapping from 3DS Max is if you apply a UV or UVW map modifier and edit the mapping using that. Then collapse the stack either by converting to editable poly or mesh. Then save as .3ds or the format you want.

Remember that .3ds can only use textures with 8 characters or less.
