i have brought a7.10 extra , and i have all the neccassery t7 files in all the right folders. but i still have no project wizard i do have project manager in the file menu please help
I did post on another post but someone said ask conitec so here i am
and when i load t7 outdoor project it says cannot find certain files so i can not run the project.and i tried to load the template 6 shooter script and that does not work either.please help.may i only have a version a6 key could this be the problem, i mean i brought an a7 extra key only on july 10th

Yes, it was correct to ask here.

If you have no project wizard, please check if a file "WDLV.DLL" in your Gamestudio folder exists and which file size and date it has.

file size is 480kb and the date is 7/14/2008

The correct date were 3/3/2008. A file date of 7/14/2008 hints that the file was modified on your PC, maybe by a virus.

Run a thorough virus check on your system. After that, de-install Gamestudio, and download and install it again.

hi i have formatted my hard drive and reinstalled windows xp.
before i even went on the net i installed gstudio and i hav the exact same problem, when i open outdoor project it says can not find textures,i still have no project wizard and when i start a new project, i get no project manager.my key says its: ack6e.key i only brought gamestudio on the 9th july 2008. i also brought a backup cd and all that has on it is the gstudio 7.07 install exe file and no password key.i downloaded the key from the email i recived and gstudio 7.10 from gamestudio download page.

After installing Gamestudio anew, is the wrong file date fixed or is it still wrong?

i loaded gstudio 7.07 from my backup cd and the date for WDLV.dll was march 27th 2008. my ack6e key file says modified 10/7/08.so i installed version 7.10 and the WDLV.dll says created today 15/7/2008.both times i get no project wizard or project manager that works in file menu.and when i open using open command on file menu the outdoor template, terrain is missing and says can not find texture file for that template.nothing seems to work.

I dont think that you can open an outdoor level with WED File/Open before you have created it first, with the project wizard.

yes just tried it just in case something was working.
how come mine has gone all wrong i would like to upgrade to commercial but if i can not get extra working then i will not.i mean all I have done is download a key file and the latest version 7.10 of gamestudio and you would think it would all work.

Don't worry, we'll find out what your problem is. You're run a virus check, have you? Is there something else not working on your PC or is it only the project wizard and manager? Can you post the wed.log?
