My name is Jay Young. I am a Game Design teacher at a local school here in Horseheads, NY. I have made a few games before in various art positions. www.mutantcel.com

In my class we use 3DGS A7. I have assembled an art team from the artists in my class (which are quite good) I have spoken with and had a meeting with the owners of a great 2D game and they would be willing to let us make a 3D version of their game. My team wrote a design for the upgrade.

So we have an art team and a design to work from but have no one to program the game. Hence that is why I am posting here.

As I have had the experiences under my belt in the game industry and we have the involvement of the owners of an existing property with a fan base of over 700 registered users, we are pretty well set for making a game that will reach shareware status. But we need a team of programmers.

As most of my art team are college students and I am not looking for any money myself, we are working for experience and having our names in the credits of a finished game.

I am not expecting a flood of already experienced programmers to want to work with us but think about it. You may have a great game idea you are working on, and it may or may not be finished due to a lack of organization or art. If you help us, your name will be in the credits of a finished game (lending you great respect in our industry), you will learn a lot and best of all you will connect with a team of organized artists who may be interested in helping you to produce your game after our game is complete.

If you are interested in working with us without a promise of future shares or a percentage of earnings, just a good experience where you could become a better game maker and have credit in a finished game, post a response here, or email me...jay at mutantcel dot com

Thank You

I'm not in a position to do any major work right now, as I'm leaving for the US Navy in 2 weeks (Aug 8). However, If you need any help/questions with A7, I'd be glad to help you and your students...

Thank you xXx. Good Luck in the Navy! I need a prototype of the game engine, I don't think you could do that in 2 weeks smile I will email you but I am unsure what you could help us with as we have nothing programmed yet.

well i have little experience with a7 gamestudio and am reading what i can when i can however i have been scripting never winter nights since it came out,, and have become rather,,, good at it, i have made 4 modules of my own and have been head DEV for a few module developers,,, im more interested in practicle experience ,,, hands on so to speak, and the ability to ask questions when i dont understand something,,, i realise never winter nights isnt game studio however there are some similarities in coding as i understand, if you would like to see a snipit or two of my code, let me know ill gladly send you some of my work.. I am unsure how useful i will be at this, however i would love to use this as a tool to get to know a7,, i have purchased a copy of it a couple months ago and have been mauling over it a little. I have informed the never winter nights group that i work with my time will be limited there, so i can dedicate some time here,, id really appreciate the opportunit to use this in a practical fasion, so as to get the hang of coding style,, oh ya im a bit of a linux boy too so im sure that helps.. but my c programing is limited to book reading.lol
